This new Lloyd Clifton designed course opened in winter of 2001. It is located on Orlando's west side, three miles south of Clermont on US Hwy. 27. Legends is less than a half hour from many parts of Orlando and Kissimmee. This semi-private, upscale beauty has quickly become one of the area's favorites. You will tee off from multi-tiered, elevated tee boxes on to dramatically rolling fairways that feature severe elevation changes with breathtaking, panoramic views of Lake Louisa in the background. Artfully carved from former citrus groves, Legends boasts a multitude of rolling, slanting (some mountainous) tiered fairways, bordered by perimeter mounding that lead to undulating, well-bunkered greens. Water is found on six holes, with several doglegs and challenging, scenic par 3's. The expansive "mountain-top" driving range boasts elevation drops of 75 to 100 feet with brilliant views. Legends' newly opened clubhouse offers a quality pro shop and full-service restaurant and bar serving lunch and dinner.
