El Campeon Course
Mission Inn Golf Resort provides 2 championship courses in a beautiful location. If you are looking to play one of the oldest courses in Florida and one that has consistently been voted one of the top 50 courses in the US, El Campeon is for you.
Built in 1926 by George O'Neil with enhancements made in 1926 by Charles E Clarke, El Campeon takes advantage of the natural rolling landscape with elevation changes of more than 85 feet which makes the course sublimely challenging and frustratingly addictive.
The course's signature 17th hole, dubbed "Devil's Delight" by its admirers and detractors, is a par 5, 556-yard double dogleg with a green guarded by bunkers and a pond.
