World Woods Golf Club opened on April 1, 1993. The pristine forestry with ample vegetation is a natural setting for two World Class Championship Golf Courses, Pine Barrens and Rolling Oaks, accompanied by one of the finest practice facility in the world which includes a 9 hole short course, a 3 hole practice course and a 23 acre practice range as well as a 2 acre putting course and an iron range and putting green strategically located near the 1st tee of each course.
The 36 Hole facility is listed in the PGA's Top 10 Most Beautiful Courses in the World. Tom Fazio designed this must see and must play facility and refers to it as his "best work".
Named for the many pine trees that line its length, the acclaimed layout is sculpted from an expansive pine forest with surprising and dramatic changes in elevation. The large manicured fairways framed by expansive untamed waste bunkering create a unique golf experience. Pine Barrens offers many intimidating, yet, enjoyable holes. The golfer who challenges Pine Barrens will find the course to test both the physical and mental aspects of their game.
